What we do

Seba Rahara began its journey in 2006  as a NGO , registered under W.B. Societies Registration Act.1961., members, based on their realisation, traditional wisdom and capacity to grasp, grass root challenges of society, the poverty alleviation and reduction of income inequalities, started microfinance operation by providing income generating loan products under insurance coverage which  are well researched , adequately  designed and priced with a strong focus on financial sustainability, which  are the excellence of Seba to stand in the services  of the individuals particularly downtrodden women working in rural, semi-urban ,urban areas. Our robust system, processes, efficiency, productivity levels, good asset quality with adequately  capitalised  fund for microfinance activities helping us always to grow and excel under legal and regulatory framework taking into account financial inclusion  with digitalisation. At Seba Rahara, the women make up 100% of our clients. These clients operate small businesses, work on small farms, work for themselves or for others in a variety of businesses-fishing, carpentry, vegetable selling, small shops, transportation, food processing, weaving, beauty parlor, agriculture and allied activities.,all for income generating activities both start up and financing of existing project activities.
